The Video Ministry at
Abundant Life continues to grow! Associate videographers,
Amy Brewer, Matt Wilson and I would like to thank
the entire congregation for utilizing
our services and for the ongoing
financial support received from our
missions’ partners @ ALT.
Due to
your ongoing support, we were able to
continue with our technology upgrade and
acquire a much needed video mixer and
remote camera staging monitor.
We
produced 171 videos for the
congregation, 52 videos for our Sunday
afternoon cable TV program. Videos of
nearly 200 services and church events
were mastered this year. In addition
over 60 VHS tapes of our 2004
Campmeeting with B.H. Clendennen are in
the process of being sent out to our
missionaries on foreign fields.
One of
our great feats in 2004 was the
production and simulcast transmission of
our missions’ documentary while on site
in Honduras. This video was broadcast
to the ALT congregation during the
Wednesday, April 21, 2004 evening
service. We had fun putting all the
technology connections in place to make
this happen while we were still on the
mission field. A goal we have is to
transmit live video via satellite during
one of our upcoming Nicaragua
construction trips.
During
2005 we will again be focusing on
equipment upgrades. We are looking to
acquire non-liner editing equipment to
improve output quality. We intend to
purchase a second dual-deck VCR to
facilitate a more timely duplication
process.
