Text Box: HOPE FOR THE HOME MINISTRIES
Christmas for the Kickapoo Indians
In December, we were privileged to deliver clothing and toys to the Kickapoo Indians in Eagle Pass, Texas. We also delivered Christmas items to Missionaries Norman and Carol Allender in McAllen, Texas for their work on the border of Mexico.  We had the opportunity to tell the wonderful story of Jesus to the Kickapoo Field Director in Eagle Pass who said he didn’t know much at all about Jesus.  He was very grateful for those who contributed the clothing.
We took along Bro. Jared Myrick to help deliver another load to the Tribal Executive Director in McCloud, Oklahoma for the director to distribute.  Many of you had a part in supplying items for us to take.  We were able to take full Christmas stockings along with extra toys to give out to the Indian children.  How appreciative the leaders were for the items they could give to their people.
Alaskan Adventure
After 10 days of travel, we arrived in North Pole, Alaska.  From there another 4 hours on gravel roads to the village of Circle (pop. 175).  We ministered two times a day in a small vacant church building, owned by a Gospel radio station.  The morning children’s services were well attended.  The night services were evangelistic, although it was mostly children who came at night, too.  Bro. Martin visited every house in the village, the older people as well as the younger ones, were mostly sitting around drinking alcohol.  He had many opportunities, which he took advantage of, to witness for the Lord.  The children were literally starved for love and attention, which we tried to show while we were there.  They didn’t want us to leave and begged us to come back soon.
We were invited to sing, preach and testify on live radio KJNP (King Jesus North Pole) Village Voice.  The radio broadcast reaches into many remote villages, including Russia and over the top of the world into Northern Europe.
One day while ministering in Anchorage, the younger children were outside playing with a 10-year old Indian boy.  After a little while, Judson ran in to say that they had led the Indian boy to the Lord!  When we fed him a picnic lunch, he wanted to pray over everything, even proceeding to pray again over his dessert!  The Indian boy was eager to tell his friends and two brothers about his new-found faith, asking for more tracts to pass out to others. It was a joy to see him reading his Bible several times after that day. Pray for Kenneth.
Oregon’s Opportunity
On our way back south, we stopped at Beatty, Oregon for several services at an Indian church (Paiute, Modoc, & Klamath Indians).  The Lord touched many lives through our ministry there.
God is using faithful people just like you to make it possible for us to dedicate more of our time and focus to reaching the people who have such desperate need and marvelous potential.  We are so grateful, and humbled, that you have chosen to place your funds in our hands with the expectation that it will be used to further our Lord’s interests and accomplish His goals.  We pray that you will receive an eternal reward for your prayerful and sacrificial investment.
At His Feet,
