Text Box: World Evangelism
Good Shepherd Holiness Ministries is attempting to fulfill our Lord’s commission of reaching the lost for Christ.  Our main missions work is in the high mountain areas of southern India in the state of Andhra Pradesh.  There are approx. 120 villages in these mountains, with each village having a population ranging from 200-600.  God has given us an open door to these villages.  Few have access to the villages because of the rebels that live in the mountains.  We have built several churches in the various cities of India as well.  These churches are a “base” for the pastors and help support them in their pioneer work in the high mountains.  Our pastors are like modern day circuit riders; most pastor more than one church.

Strengthening the Hands of the Bearers of Burdens
Good Shepherd Holiness Ministries is committed to aiding the native pastors in India and abroad.  In India, we have helped in the construction of three churches, purchased tangible items, as well as monthly support being sent to the pastors working under our banner.  All our pastors attend various training seminars which we conduct regularly.  We are very much involved with helping the less fortunate.  We have over 35 widows and handicapped persons that we send support to each month.  Food, clothing, Bibles, transportation, and whatever else may arise are the needs we try to meet to ease their suffering.
Show us your GOD!
The state in which we minister, Andrea Pradesh was hard hit by the recent Tsunami crisis.  This occurred 30 miles from our headquarters in Tadepalligudem.  The government of India has announced that they have everything under control and will not be looking for foreign aid.  The Indian people are widely critical of their government for refusing outside help.  Officials, resistant to outside aid since colonial times and self-conscious about India’s position as an emerging technological and manufacturing giant, steadfastly refuse outside donations.  When I return to India on February 14th, we plan to give aid to a fishing village that was heavily damaged by the tidal wave.  The name of the village is Uppada.  We will be taking clothes and other necessary items with us, as many of the villagers lost everything they owned.

Thanks for all the help this past year, it was a great blessing!

God Bless,
